There are always opportunities to support “The Friends” by volunteering!
Check out the following Volunteer opportunities:
Pages Past Bookstore (2 hours per month)
Spring and fall book sales (2 hour shifts)
Sorting books ~ work as many or as few hours per month as you'd like
Assisting with library activities: i.e. serving punch, assisting with games at a library sponsored event
Chairs for the Fundraising Committee and the Publicity/Advocacy Committee ~ only a few hours per month
Project Bookshelf ~ help parents choose 2 new books for each child, 3 days in December
Helping with setting up and tearing down before and after volunteer events
Other opportunities vary based on the needs of the libraries.
