The Pages Past Bookstore continues a brisk business! We continue to have monthly specials, bag sales the last Friday of every month, and a great selection of books.  New ones are out almost everyday! We also have many brand new books signed by local authors and the beloved Betsy-Tacy series by Maud Hart Lovelace.  Prices are extremely reasonable. Pages Past Bookstore is worth a visit!

Hours for the store currently are:

            Mondays           1:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.

          Tuesdays           1:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.

         Wednesdays       9:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m.

           Thursdays          9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.

           Fridays               9:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.

           Saturdays           9:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.

Starting in February, the store will be open until 3 p.m.

Pages Past Bookstore is a used bookstore which has been open since August 1997 and is located in the Blue Earth County Library. The bookstore sells newly printed editions of Maud Hart Lovelace’s Betsy-Tacy books. See below for the titles and prices on the Betsy-Tacy books.  Currently the first 4 books of the Betsy-Tacy series is still being printed but the others are no longer being published.  Your letters can make a difference.  Requests that the Betsy-Tacy series continues to be published can be sent to Margaret Miller, the Associate Editor at Harper Collins Children's Books, 1350 Avenue of the America's, New York, NY 10019.  
Please check our store accordingly to stock up on any remaining books for your collection before they are sold out.  

The Pages Past Bookstore has a special sale every every month. The store also highlights books by seasonal topics, such as fiction month depending on stock available, cookbooks, or self-help. Every sale features a great selection! This program also helps raise money for other projects that are part of the operation of “Friends of the Deep Valley Libraries.” 

The Pages Past Bookstore is staffed by more than 60 volunteers who are dedicated to the promotion of reading in our community. If you are interested in volunteering or becoming a member of Friends of the Deep Valley Libraries, please see the Membership page. 

The materials which are for sale in the store are donated by community members, businesses, etc. The libraries are able to choose what they wish for their collection first, then the best of what is left is sold in the store. What does not sell in the store, or is too well loved, goes for sale in the annual book sales. “It Takes Two” greeting cards are also sold.
